A man who escaped lawful custody on July 4th and was recaptured on August 15, appeared in court on Monday on a plethora of charges.
He was remanded to the Barbados prison service (Dodds) until September 10.
Kiron Darren Price-Walthrust, 24, of Brownes Gap, Sargeant’s Village, Christ church, appeared in the Bridgetown traffic court before Magistrate Alison Burke.
He has been charged with the murder of Mitch Boyce on January 12, the June 22 murder of Gavin archer; 14 counts of endangering life; nine counts of use of a firearm; three counts of using a firearm without a valid licence; five counts of aggravated criminal damage; four counts of violent disorder; one count of criminal damage; possession of 11 rounds of ammunition; two counts of assaulting a police officer; resisting and threatening a police officer; and escaping lawful custody.
These offences are said to have occurred between January 12 and August 20 in the District A, District C, Central, black rock, Oistins and Hastings/Worthing jurisdictions.
Price-walthrust pleaded guilty to the Hastings/Worthing offence, but was not required to plead to the other offences.
He will appear in the Oistins magistrates’ court on August 28 to answer to charges in the District C and Oistins jurisdictions.
