The Barbados 4-H Foundation remains dedicated to developing well-rounded, responsible, and capable young citizens.
That’s according to National Programme Co-ordinator Theodore Fraser, who says this will be achieved through agriculture, leadership, community service, and life skills.
He was speaking during a press conference to update the public on the foundation’s work and upcoming initiatives.
Public Relations Officer Jan-Yves Holder noted that the curriculum has been updated to include elements beyond animal care.
Planned initiatives for the year include increasing membership by 30%, raising revenue and funding in the fourth quarter, promoting Clover Bud Clubs for primary school children, staging two healthy living events, and organising a beach clean-up.
