A suggestion a union is needed to represent the island’s artists.
It’s come from Founder, Producer and Chief Executive Officer of the United International Arts Expo, Karlos Cobham.
He believes it’s an important step to change the perception of art as not just a hobby but a career.
Mr. Cobham was speaking ahead of a walk, scheduled for September 7, to sensitise Barbadians that art matters.
This will be followed by the United International Arts Expo.
