Dr. Fay G. Parris President of the Barbados Nurses Association has a number of goals and priorities set for the organisation after a challenging 2023.
In her New Year message, she says COVID-19 and the global mass migration of nurses took them over but they were resilient and innovative in responding to patient needs.
She says some of the pluses were better working conditions for nurses, adjustment of allowances, uniform distribution, and others.
Dr. Fay Parris says that going into 2024 there are lots of possibilities in store to elevate the profession.
