An increase in staff as well as a multi-million dollar upgrade in medical equipment is on the cards for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Chief Executive Officer Neil Clarke notes the hiring of additional hospital workers has been approved, and proposals for the acquisition of medical equipment is almost a done deal.
He says it forms part of the key objectives of the 2025 -2028 strategy for improving and expanding the services offered by the QEH.
Mr. Clarke made the disclosure during the QEH’s radio show the Pulse on Q100.7 F.M.
Director of Medical Services at the QEH Anthony Harris explains state of the art imaging and monitoring equipment will be among the acquisitions.
