One advocate is calling on authorities to ensure that those entering the country from October 1st through the CARICOM free movement are well informed of some of the nuances of Barbados.
Director of the Barbados Sea Turtle Project, Carla Daniel, says some of the people coming will have cultural practices, in terms of their hunting, fishing, and eating, that are different from what obtains in Barbados.
Moreover, Ms. Daniel says she will continue to advocate through her various platforms, with sea turtles being at the top of that list.
