With the entry of the Africa Export and Import, Afreximbank in the region, Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley would like to see African commercial and investment banks follow suit.
Their entry is viewed as an added plus.
Ms. Mottley is in Guyana for the opening of the second Afri-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum.
Ms. Mottley expressed optimism more CARICOM countries will join the Afreximbank.
