A suggestion Government must ensure there’s an alternative path away from crime as it addresses challenges facing Barbadian youth.
According to Minister in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment, Senator Chad Blackman the issue requires a modern approach.
Senator Blackman again put forward a proposal for the administration to consider exposing young people to the numerous opportunities globally.
He was the featured speaker at the annual general meeting of the Barbados Labour Party’s Christ Church West Central branch.
Senator Blackman has also sounded a warning to those coming into politics who are not prepared to do the hard work.
He suggests good representation is linked to national development.
