A usual morning routine turned devastating for a St. Philip family after a bush fire triggered a woman’s asthma.
A woman, who gave her name only as Angernette, said she was preparing for work at her Congo Road home when she began to smell smoke.
She said that initially, the smoke was not unbearable, but it gradually got worse until it engulfed the entire house.
Angernette said it instantly triggered her asthma.
She is urging the public to be more mindful and to desist from burning indiscriminately.
