Local authorities are implementing measures to deal with crime from all angles.
That is according to the Minister responsible for Crime Prevention, Corey Lane.
He says the new Direct Intervention Programme is already in the works since its approval by the Security Council and Cabinet last month.
Minister Lane, who was sworn in less than six months ago, says there have already been pockets of success but admitted it was difficult to measure success in this regard.
