The cost of living and more specifically, the prices of items in the supermarket, have been foremost on people’s minds in recent times.
CBC News has been receiving some complaints from consumers who say they haven’t noticed significant changes in the prices of many of the items which Government announced in the Budget would be VAT free from the beginning of this month.
CBC News contacted the Executive Director of the Barbados Employers Confederation, Sheena Mayers-Granville about the developments and she told us there are various factors that contribute to the final price at the cash register.
