The Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP) has added its voice in condemning the recent attacks on nurses.
Public Relations Officer, Dr. Clyde Cave, said that just as a health care worker is held to high standards of professionalism in the performance of their duties, civility is expected from the public.
He stated that workplace safety is a basic expectation and right of all healthcare workers.
Dr. Cave stressed that those who threaten or assault health care workers must be held accountable to the full extent of the law.
