Barbadians are being invited to Catch the Culture at this year’s Flow Oistins Fish Festival.
Co-chair of this year’s festival with responsibility for marketing, Israel Mallett, says over 150 vendors will showcase their wares.
He adds that the festival is a massive boost to local entrepreneurs and small businesses and continues to be an economic engine for the community.
And despite losing spaces to developments in a number of areas, Mr. Mallett says the number of vendors is on par, if not just above, previous years.
Mr. Mallett notes once the festival makes a surplus, contributions are made to the Oistins Fisherfolk Association, Oistins Bay Garden, and the Berinda Cox Fisheries Complex.
Flow Barbados’ Senior Communications Manager, Toni Yarde, says their sponsorship goes beyond financial support.
