Barbadians will soon be able to apply for learner’s permits and driver’s licences online.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works Santia Bradshaw has announced the driver’s licence management system will be introduced to the public by the end of March.
Speaking during the Estimates Debate the Deputy Prime Minister indicated the new system is a part of the move to modernise the Barbados Licensing Authority.
The Deputy Prime Minister adds efforts are ongoing to improve the services offered by the authority, which is currently experiencing several challenges.
