Reach out and touch at least one life.
That’s the plea from Member of Parliament for St. Thomas, Cynthia Forde.
She urges parishioners of St. Thomas to come together for their leg of the We Gatherin’ 2025 celebrations and encourages all Barbadians to get back to the basics.
She was speaking during the multi-faith church service and courtyard social at Lester Vaughn Secondary School.
Members of Parliament were in attendance, along with representatives from various faiths across the island.
Meanwhile, a representative of the Rastafarian movement, Abbott Geuel, says every nation reaches its turning point, and Barbados is now at that juncture.
He says Barbados is in a transitional period, progressing from the present toward a future envisioned in the 2030 Agenda and the Bridgetown Initiative—both aimed at building a better future for all Barbadians.
