Barbadians are being warned about the silent threat to their sight — glaucoma — one of the leading non-communicable diseases responsible for vision loss if left undetected.
The caution came Sunday morning from Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Davidson Ishmael, as he spoke at a service at the Church of the Nazarene to mark the start of World Glaucoma Week.
