Article 45 of the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas speaks to the free movement of CARICOM nationals throughout the CARICOM member states.
Twenty-three years later, it will finally become a reality for four countries, which are gearing up for full free movement beginning October 1st.
Barbados’ Ambassador to CARICOM, His Excellency David Comissiong, says St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize and Dominica will now become Barbados’ closest allies.
He was speaking as a guest on TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
Meanwhile, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Ambassador to CARICOM Allan Alexander says they are all very much excited at the possibilities before them.
