Barbados Association for the Blind and Deaf receives donation

A blind Barbadian model who lives in New York has been doing her part to give back to the blind and deaf community here.

Annalee Bowen Smith, who hosted the “Not My Eyes” fashion showcase with 22 blind and visually impaired male and female models in April, donated a cheque to the Barbados Association for the Blind and Deaf this morning.

President of the Association, Elviston Maloney, welcomed the funds noting the money will go a long way.
