Barbados Cancer Society to launch new state-of-the-art mobile clinic

The Barbados Cancer Society will be launching a new state-of-the-art mobile clinic, which will continue to play a key role in the island’s breast cancer fight.

Word of this from Medical Coordinator of the Cancer Society’s Breast Screening Programme, Dr. Shirley Hanoman-Jhagroo.

She says the $100,000 clinic will replace the existing eighteen-year-old mobile van.

Speaking on Mornin’ Barbados, Dr. Hanoman-Jhagroo said the new clinic will be purchased with funds raised through this year’s Walk for the Cure.
