The Barbados economy recorded 4% growth in 2024.
Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados, Dr. Kevin Greenidge notes this is the third consecutive year of growth, and the 14th quarter of economic growth on a stretch for the country.
He was speaking at a Central Bank news conference to review the country’s economic performance for 2024.
Additionally, Dr. Greenidge says reserve rates reached a record high of 3.2 billion dollars with a 184% increase over the last year.
