Barbados is aiming to capitalise on the Ghanaian and African market with the formal launch of its tourism initiatives in the West African nation.
The launch was announced by High Commissioner in Ghana, Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland during an exclusive We Gatherin’ event with the Ghanaian Youtuber, Wode Maya.
The event was aimed at fostering stronger ties between the African continent and the Caribbean, focusing on shared cultural, historical, and economic interests
Several partnerships are expected to be forged through the tourism initiatives.
Ms. Bynoe-Sutherland says Barbados has benefitted from the exposure from Wode Maya’s videos.
She expressed gratitude saying he has done good for brand Barbados.
