Barbados’ longest running film festival is back, bigger and bolder than ever.
Director of the Barbados Independent Film Festival De Carla Applewhaite says the festival is celebrating its 9th edition with a lineup of 60 films to be shown over five incredible days across eight diverse venues.
Addressing a news conference Applewhaite said organisers of the festival received scores of entries this year.
Applewhaite says the festival continues to provide a platform for Barbadian and regional filmmakers to showcase their work.
