On this World Day Against Child Labour, Barbados has recommitted to protecting the well-being of every child.
Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan, in his message, says the country is steadfast in its commitment to eradicating child labour in all forms, ensuring every child is protected from hazardous and exploitative work.
He also urged partners in the private and third sectors to join Government in intensifying efforts to promote decent work for adults, strengthen legal frameworks and invest in education and social protection.
