The Barbados Police Service is investigating another homicide, this one occurred in the wee hours of today, Monday, June 16.
Police at District A Station are conducting investigations into a shooting which occurred around 12:03 a.m. at Skeetes Road, Ivy, St. Michael.
Their initial investigations have shown that the deceased was in the area of Skeetes Road when several gunshots were discharged, striking and fatally injuring him. He has been identified by a relative as 39-year-old Anderson Calderon, of North Close, Wildey, St. Michael.
They added in a press release that “a medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced death. Investigations are continuing into the matter. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information that may assist us to please contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1800-8477, Police Emergency at 211 or the District A Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246.
