Barbados to pursue sustainable development

Barbados has signalled its commitment before the 113th International Labour Conference in Geneva to a human-centred model of development.

Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan, says the island will pursue economic growth and sustainable development by focusing on improving the standard of living of Barbadians.

He also updated the International Labour Organisation on strides made by Barbados in the area of labour.
