In its message for International Day of Older Persons, the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) says it stands ready to respond to the needs of seniors, as the world changes along with the needs of the elderly.
President Marilyn Rice-Bowen said the organisation will continue to advocate for the rights of seniors, and strengthen its partnership with Government by working with the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs.
She says BARP is excited to recognise the Day which celebrates seniors worldwide.
