A community outreach programme is among events planned to mark the 200th anniversary of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
President James Clarke made the revelation as he addressed the recently-held Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s business luncheon and panel discussion at the Hilton Barbados Resort.
Mr. Clarke said a public lecture is also on the programme as the chamber reaffirms its commitment to its members and the society in which it serves.
He says the BCCI holds the distinction of being the oldest private sector organisation in Barbados.
