The Barbados Defence Force is hosting its We Gatherin’ week of activities as part of the 2025 initiative.
This comes as they celebrate, connect, and reflect with ex-service persons, ex-cadets, and those currently serving.
BDF’s event coordinator, Captain Brian Cole, says the BDF is not only in the business of safeguarding the nation, but also a community partner.
So far, they have hosted a church service, a cricket match, and today a family beach day at Brandon’s.
There will also be Q in the Community on Thursday at St Ann’s Fort, a wellness fair and military tattoo on Friday at Haynesville Pavilion, a cruise on the MC Inspire 2 on Saturday, and the grand finale at St Ann’s Fort, also on Saturday.
