Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has signalled there will be regular garbage collection across the island by the end of this financial year.
She has also committed the Sanitation Service Authority to two collections per week in densely populated areas.
Prime Minister Mottley also thanked SSA workers for all their efforts to catch up with garbage collection over the last week, following five days of industrial action.
