A vast majority of Jamaicans are still without electricity, telephone service and water, following the passage of hurricane Melissa.
Minister of Energy and Business, Lisa Cummins, has announced that the Barbados Light and Power Company Limited (BLPC) is sending a team to the devastated nation, as well as to the Bahamas.
She was addressing the energy month church service Sunday morning, at the Power in the Blood Assembly, Tudor Bridge, St Michael.
