The Barbados Manufacturers Association (BMA) is supporting its members in their commitment to upholding high production standards and maintaining good public health practices.
Consumers are being assured that most local manufacturers adhere to strict production standards with several producers, achieving international accreditation, and meeting the required quality control best practices.
President of the BMA Rakeesh Bernard says that while on occasion there may be areas of concern, local manufacturers are competing and producing on an international level.
Meanwhile, Executive Director Shardae Boyce outlined some of the ongoing training offered to local manufacturers.
