The Barbados Nurses Association is calling for immediate reforms to the health care system.
The call came from President Dr. Faye Parris.
She said this was the consensus following an emergency meeting held yesterday.
The meeting comes on the heels of nurses being attacked at the Randall Phillips and Frederick Miller polyclinics earlier this week.
Dr. Parris is urging the public not to attack nurses.
