BWA making progress with repairs

BWA workers are making progress in their repairs to the Belle Pumping Station with work expected to continue into the night.

That’s according to Director of Engineering Charles Leslie.

He says three damaged pumps were removed from the well just before midday and BWA crews are currently in the process of replacing these pumps as well as defective cable.

Mr. Leslie says this process should be completed in a few hours.
