The Cabinet of Barbados has given its approval for the development of a daycare facility for the elderly at Sterling, St.Philip.
The announcement was made by Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey as he wrapped up the Debate on the 2023-2028 National Ageing Policy.
Minister Humphrey also disclosed that the draft legislation focused on the protection and empowerment of seniors has been completed and will soon be brought to parliament.
