Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce has revealed what triggered yesterday’s series of daring daylight shooting incidents, including the death of a young man.
This as he reassures Barbadians that the Police Service continues to engage in joint operations with the Barbados Defence Force to arrest the current proliferation of illegal firearms in the hands of individuals who exhibit no regard for human life or civil order.
Addressing an emergency press conference at police headquarters, Boyce declared that the Barbados Police Service strongly condemns the reckless and barbaric acts of terrorism recently displayed on the island’s streets. Acts, he says, are more akin to a war-torn nation under siege.
