There’s a call for more partnerships to finance major projects to make the region more climate resilient.
It’s coming from Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds who says the region faces a greater crisis in relation to climate change.
He made the call while delivering the keynote address at the Caribbean Climate Resilience Event, at the Hilton Barbados Resort,
Mr. Symmonds says climate change is a wide subejct and includes infrastructure and utilities.
Mr. Symmonds says CARICOM is now meeting world leaders at the table and highlighting certain inadequacies in the structure of global financing and trade.
