The Barbados Bar Association (BBA) is calling on the relevant authorities to prioritise amendments to the disciplinary arm of the Association, which is funded by Government.
President Kaye Williams says this must be done as a matter of urgency, in the best interest of the public and to ensure professional accountability.
She says the public deserves a disciplinary process that is transparent, fair and timely.
