Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey is calling for people with disabilities to be included in all aspects of society.
He says that while economic development is necessary, it must also be inclusive.
Minister Humphrey made the comments while delivering remarks at this year’s Caribbean Disability Conference, held at the Wyndham Grand Sam Lord’s Castle Resort.
Meanwhile, Minister of Educational Transformation Chad Blackman says inclusive education remains a key part of Government’s policy.
He adds that no one will be left behind as the educational landscape continues to expand.
