A suggestion Barbados and other countries need to rethink the concept of resilience given the new climate crisis.
It has come from People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Minister Kirk Humphrey.
He believes a collective effort across the political divide is needed to address the matter.
He made the point during his Contribution to the debate on the Marine Transport (Emissions Control) Bill, 2024.
Mr. Humphrey, who once served as Blue Economy Minister, has also defended Government’s response to the situation at the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex.
