Employers are being advised to retrain their staff as more artificial intelligence is employed within businesses.
The advice comes from President of the Human Resource Management Association of Barbados Inc., Nicholas Roberts.
The Human Resource Consultant was speaking during the launch of this year’s Human Resource Management Conference.
It will be held under the theme ‘Human Tech Expo – Bridging the Gap Between People and Technology’, set to be held on October 9th-10th.
Additionally, Mr. Roberts says companies need to embrace remote work more.
He says following lockdowns forced by the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of businesses reverted to a return to the office, which in his opinion is the equivalent of taking five steps backwards.
