The Barbados Labour Party’s Chad Blackman is the duly elected Member of Parliament for St James North.
Mr Blackman captured 2, 723 votes to the DLP’s Felicia Dujon’s 468.
Steffanie Williams of the Community Empowerment Party got 21 votes, and Alex Mitchell of the Bajan Free Party notched seven votes.
Speaking after being elected, Mr Blackman thanked God for his victory.
