A climate activist from Barbados has told a global forum challenges and barriers still exist for young people wanting to have their voices heard on climate change.
Ashley Lashley, Founder of the non-profit organisation the Ashley Lashley Foundation, shared how her advocacy and efforts locally have resulted in the creation of one of the largest youth climate and health movements.
She wants more support for young people with innovative projects that need funding and support.
Ms. Lashley was among the panel for a discussion titled “People, Nature, and Climate in Latin America and the Caribbean”, being held in Colombia by the Rockefeller Foundation.
