In response to concerns from local farmers, Pinnacle Feeds Ltd. is reintroducing pig starter feed to the market.
Feed Plant Manager John Gardner says the product, which was last produced in 2002, has been specifically designed to meet the digestive requirements of a young animal.
Mr. Gardner made the announcement to distributors at the Pinnacle Feeds seminar.
He says the company wants to ensure piglets are managed well at this critical stage.
