Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is highlighting the critical importance of the Loss and Damage Fund, noting that some insurance companies are now refusing to cover natural disasters.
She also expressed concern that local hoteliers are facing increasingly high insurance costs.
The Prime Minister addressed the issue at the 5th Board Meeting of the Loss and Damage Fund, currently being held at the Hilton Barbados Resort.
