Consumers paying more at the pump

Consumers are paying more for gasoline and diesel, effective midnight Thursday, May 22, while kerosene remains unchanged.

The price of gasoline moved to $3.95 per litre, an increase of six cents, while diesel went up by seven cents and now costs $3.40 per litre. Kerosene remains at $1.26 per litre.

The Ministry of Energy has advised that going forward, the consuming public can expect to benefit from the continuation of the Government’s policy, which mandates that retail prices should be reflective of those on the international market. (PR)
