The procurement process to select contractors for technology and infrastructural upgrades at ten primary schools will commence in two months.
Minister of Educational Transformation, Chad Blackman, says the upgrades, under the Inter-American Development Bank-funded Skills for the Future Two project, will begin with no disruption to the teaching and learning process.
He made the announcement while delivering a Ministerial Statement in the House of Assembly.
Minister Blackman adds that a review and upgrade of the Education Act is currently in progress and is expected to be completed by December this year.
