A corporate donation is set to make time at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department a little more bearable.
Courts Barbados gifted two televisions to the hospital, which staff say will bring relief to patients and families as they wait for care. Brand Manager for Courts and Credit, Keisha Allamby, noted that it is their way of giving back to the community.
Head of Accident and Emergency Department, Consultant Dr. Anne-Marie Cruickshank, welcomes the donation. She says waiting in the emergency room can often be stressful, and having access to television can provide much-needed distraction and relief.
You can hear more from the QEH during its “Pulse Radio Show” on Monday, on Q100.7 FM from 11 a.m. to noon. Dr. Corey Forde, the Director of Clinical and Diagnostic Services, is among the featured guests.
