Police are investigating an incident which occurred on Monday night here in Barbados, surrounding members of the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots franchise in the Caribbean Premier League.
It is understood that one player and another man were reportedly robbed in the area of a St Michael night club.
A struggle ensued between the bandit and the player whose chain was later snatched.
According to an official spokesperson for the T20 league, the CPL has been made aware of the matter, which is now in the hands of local lawmen.
The CPL will now focus on the well-being of those involved.
