Cuba’s Ambassador to Barbados, Yanet Stable-Cardenas, has reaffirmed her country’s commitment to maintaining its medical cooperation programme with Barbados.
She says the programme is a gesture of solidarity.
Recently, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a further hardening of sanctions on Cuba, with an expansion of an existing visa restriction policy relating to Cuba’s overseas medical missions.
