Tourism officials are not too worried about current events in the United States affecting tourism numbers.
Minister Ian Gooding-Edghill says the situation remains a dynamic one, but in the event of any fallout, there is a contingency plan in place.
And he says based on models and projections, there is no fall off of numbers due to present events in the United States.
But he stresses tourism officials will be building more capacity and resilience to increase visitor arrivals from existing and new source markets.
However, Minister Gooding-Edghill has cautioned anything can happen in the world.
But he stresses that Barbados continues to build a resilient tourism sector.
